The Canal and River Trust

The Lee Valley Park follows much of the River Lee. It provides green open spaces, nature reserves, Lee Valley Park Farms and facilities for a variety of sports and watersports.

The 2012 London Olympics has led to a number of projects to improve the Lee Valley waterways for both people and nature.

Tennis For Kids is a free 6 week course for 5 to 8 year olds taught by a qualified coach. A free tennis racket is supplied if you attend regularly and parents get the opportunity to get involved too!

LTA CEO, Michael Downey, added: “The Tennis for Kids initiative is an absolute priority to encourage families to put tennis front of mind and see it as a fun and healthy sport that everyone can enjoy. After our momentous Davis Cup win last year, we wanted to ensure we did something that really focused on the younger generation and inspired them to get involved in a sport that they could continue to enjoy throughout their lives.
